Here comes the Judge!

You already know that your Thoughts are what create your experience. You’ve likely already spent some time monitoring your thoughts, at the very least to find out where your attention goes most often.

As the Thought Analysis is completed, you’ll see a type of thought that may come up from time to time.

Judgment.

What is a Judgment?

This is the definition I found at Merriam-Webster.com:

Main Entry: judg·ment

Variant(s): or judge·ment \?j?j-m?nt\

Function: noun

Date: 13th century

1 a : a formal utterance of an authoritative opinion b : an opinion so pronounced
2 a : a formal decision given by a court b (1) : an obligation (as a debt) created by the decree of a court (2) : a certificate evidencing such a decree
3 a capitalized : the final judging of humankind by God b : a divine sentence or decision; specifically : a calamity held to be sent by God
4 a : the process of forming an opinion or evaluation by discerning and comparing b : an opinion or estimate so formed
5 a : the capacity for judging : discernment b : the exercise of this capacity
6 : a proposition stating something believed or asserted

synonyms see sense

A Judgment is a strong opinion. This opinion is often based upon our experience. This opinion is then expressed through our Filters.

I’ve talked about Filters many times. Filters are how we choose to look at things, and are generally a learned response. We have learned these responses from the important people in our life, and also from how we have interpreted an experience. For example, when a new child is born into a family, the older child may interpret this experience as “I’m not good enough. My parents had to have a second child.”

I like to say that Judgments are Thoughts with Emotional Baggage.

This form of Judgment is often labelled as a negative thought pattern, and not of service.

I have come to learn that this is not true, at least for me.

Judgments are Sign Posts and Growing Opportunities

Our Judgments can be used as a tool, and therefore can be of service.

When we are expressing a Judgment, it is around something that has triggered us.

All too often, Judgment spills out without another thought. These are just missed opportunities.

When Judgment spills out and is caught, the typical reaction is to judge self as being negative and judgmental.

Rather than heading down that winding road, there is another choice.

Judgments are Growing Opportunities.

When Judgment is used as a Tool rather than a Weapon, a valuable transformation begins.

Powerful Questions

Use Powerful Questions to extract the juicy goodness from the Judgment. Before you do, make sure you put on your Observer’s Hat. This means setting aside your emotions for a moment.

Examples of Powerful Questions could be:

What am I showing myself?

Where is this showing up in my own life?

What other facts are available to me?

Judgments may be coming forward to show us what we may be avoiding or not noticing in our own life.

Judgments may also be inviting us to look more deeply as our opinions may change when we have more information or facts.

Activate Your Observer

Powerful Questions can activate your Observer. This part of you is not ruled by your emotions.

There is another side of Judgment, and it was briefly referred to in the definition above. This is Discernment.

Main Entry: dis·cern·ment

Pronunciation: \di-?s?rn-m?nt, -?z?rn-\

Function: noun

Date: 1586

1 : the quality of being able to grasp and comprehend what is obscure : skill in discerning
2 : an act of discerning

synonyms discernment, discrimination, perception, penetration, insight, acumen mean a power to see what is not evident to the average mind. discernment stresses accuracy (as in reading character or motives or appreciating art) <the discernment to know true friends>. discrimination stresses the power to distinguish and select what is true or appropriate or excellent <the discrimination that develops through listening to a lot of great music>. perception implies quick and often sympathetic discernment (as of shades of feeling) <a novelist of keen perception into human motives>. penetration implies a searching mind that goes beyond what is obvious or superficial <lacks the penetration to see the scorn beneath their friendly smiles>. insight suggests depth of discernment coupled with understanding sympathy <a documentary providing insight into the plight of the homeless>. acumen implies characteristic penetration combined with keen practical judgment <a director of reliable box-office acumen>.

When you activate your Observer, you activate Discernment.

When you activate Discernment, you are able to make choices from Truth rather than Emotion.

Simple but Not Easy

Using Judgment as a Tool sounds simple, and it is. Sometimes, though, it’s not easy.

Our emotions, while valuable and important, can sometimes take off like a run-away train. Putting on the brakes is not always easy, but it can be done.

Sometimes activating your Observer can be easier when we bring in another set of eyes. Call on the support of a wise friend or mentor. It does become easier over time when you practice with someone.

Remember. Practice makes permanent.

The world is filled with Rules. Some have value. Some don’t.

The laws we abide by are meant to keep the community safe. Those Rules do have their place.

The Rules I want to talk about are those self-imposed ones. These ones often transform into Limitations.

Lets take Tools for example. Tools come into play to support us to achieve things more easily.

I have a wonderfully full toolkit! It contains things like my Journal, meditation, exercise, and diet. I’ve learned various healing modalities. I’ve read numerous books. I’ve attended workshops, training programs, and much more!

Tools are fantastic! They can and often do allow us to achieve things more easily!

And, sometimes, they shift from being a Tool into a Rule.

When this happens, the tool no longer supports. It becomes a limitation.

Let me give you an example.

When a Hammer becomes a rule, you use it when a Screwdriver may work better. Or, you always use a Hammer, but don’t have one today. You can’t fix it. You don’t have your Hammer. Or, you have a delicate task, but you’ve always used THIS Hammer, so you use it anyway, and it doesn’t work.

I love my journal, but sometimes, it just doesn’t fit. Could be any number of reasons. I’ve left it at home. I’m driving. I hurt my hand.

I love meditating. I do have a favourite meditation, but what if the active meditation of walking or knitting is more appropriate for today? Do I go to my favourite meditation because it’s always what I do, or do I move naturally into the active meditation?

A full toolbox is a good thing. The question is, which part of you pulls the tools out day to day?

The Mind is brilliant at gathering data, and categorizing things. It can effortlessly pull up this information when needed (and even when not needed). If it needs a tool at any point, it will search the data banks for information. If it doesn’t have a specific tool come up, it will grab the one that has been used the most. Simple. Logical. Tools become Rules.

The Spirit is brilliant at seeing / feeling / knowing / sensing the Big Picture. The data doesn’t always match what the Spirit knows. When it reaches into the tool box, it uses it’s knowing, it’s intuition, to pick the appropriate tool. There is not always a logical, linear reason. The Tool remains a Tool.

Which part of you has domain over your toolbox? Your Mind or Spirit?

Have your Tools become Rules?

I had the honour of interviewing Liz for Welcome Changes Radio, and the show was incredible! Check out the downloads to listen or download the show.

After pre-recording the interview, I decided to register for her workshop in August. I got that “feeling”. You know…that excited feeling that tells you you just HAVE TO do this?

I got another email from her, reminding me to bring a day pack and such. She also told me that there’s an opening, and that if someone wants to come to this workshop on August 16th, that they can have a 15% discount.

If you do want to come and play, let Liz know I sent you to get the discount. Make sure you can get there by the afternoon of August 15th. Then, let me know you’re coming too!

I’m excited!

Dream BIG!

Spam is the abuse of electronic messaging systems to indiscriminately send unsolicited bulk messages.

Your brain is your Personal Electronic Messaging System. Are you indiscriminately sending unsolicited bulk messages to yourself?

Note: Throughout the remainder of this report, we will refer to your Personal Electronic Messaging System as “PEMS”.

Mental Spam

Here are some examples of Mental Spam:

I can’t do that.

That’s too hard.

It’ll never work.

There’s no way out of this.

We all do it; some more than others. As children we saw the constant stream of Mental Spam happening for others. We though it was normal.

Mental Spam Program

Note: Throughout the remainder of this report, we will refer to the Mental Spam Program as “MSP”.

After seeing how many people were doing this, we installed the MSP. It was Share-ware. Like those we received the program from, we set our Mental Spam Program to auto-run.

Mental Spam Output

To see how much you Mental Spam you send, keep a small notebook or a piece of paper in your pocket or purse. Any time you notice negative self-talk or complaining, mark it down on your paper. You don’t need to keep track of what the Mental Spam was. You are simply recording the number of Mental Spam you are sending yourself in one day.

Anti-Mental Spam Programs

This is a program that was developed by the MSP to trick you into leaving it running in the background. All it really does is add variations of the phrase “I don’t want to…” to all your Mental Spam Output. The illusion is that because you add this phrase, it looks different, so it must not be different. The MSP continues to run in the background as it distracts you with the Anti-Mental Spam Program.

Auto-Joy-Sponder Program

The program you do want to install is an Auto-Joy-Sponder. This program sends valuable information to your PEMS. The Auto-Joy-Sponder System does have a setting to fill your PEMS to maximum capacity. With no capacity available to the MSP, the MSP will move into hibernation. If the MSP experiences a lengthy hibernation, it will deactivate completely.

The Auto-Joy-Sponder Program is also Shareware, however its download network has been significantly smaller than the MSP’s download network in previous years.

However, due to the increased awareness regarding Personal Growth Programs world-wide, the Auto-Joy-Sponder Program has been gaining popularity, which has prompted more download networks worldwide.

Auto-Joy-Sponder Program Features

What’s interesting about the Auto-Joy-Sponder Program is that it actually uses output from the MSP as its initial source of data input.

The Auto-Joy-Sponder Program works quite simply. It takes the data from the MSP and inserts a few simple variations of the phrase “What if…” to each Mental Spam Output.

Once the phrase “What if…” is inserted to each Mental Spam Output, an electro-chemical reaction occurs, and the Mental Spam Output transforms immediately into a Possibility Loop. As more Possibility Loops are created and circulate through your PEMS, your Auto-Joy-Sponder functions without the data from your MSP, causing it to move into hibernation and eventual deactivation.

What’s even more exciting about the Auto-Joy-Sponder Program is that the Possibility Loops it creates often exit your PEMS. They take on a Physical Energy Form you are able to interact with directly. This begins randomly at first, however the longer the Auto-Joy-Sponder Program works the more Possibility Loops exit into Physical Energy Forms.

An example of the evolution of Mental Spam Output to Physical Energy Form using the Auto-Joy-Sponder Program would look something like this.

1. MSP Auto-Run.

2. Mental Spam Output: I can’t ride a bike.

3. Auto-Joy-Sponder What If Insertion and Electro-Chemical Reaction.

4. Possibility Loop: What If I can ride a bike! (Notice the exclamation point insertion to enhance the emotional output.)

5. Possibility Look Exit to Physical Energy Form: I can ride a bike! (Notice how the exclamation point stays attached even after the Possibility Loop enters its Physical Energy Form.)

What is interesting is we have found some individuals who have installed the Auto-Joy-Sponder Program into their children. We have found that the Auto-Joy-Sponder has been able to function perfectly without the initial MSP input.

Recommendations

It is this researcher’s recommendation that you find your nearest download network for the Auto-Joy-Sponder Program. Download and install the program immediately.

It is this researcher’s mission to instigate global installations of the Auto-Joy-Sponder Program. With the support from present and future users of the Auto-Joy-Sponder Program, this vision IS possible (Possibility Loop), and will eventually occur (exit into a Physical Energy Form).

Note: The author’s version of the Auto-Joy-Sponder Program was downloaded from http://joy-journal.com
