I’ve set some goals to plurk with over the cooler months. I’m a [...]]]> It’s the last week of October, and while we’ve had some snow, the ground is wonderfully brown. Autumn is certainly the season of change, and though I’m not a winter girl, I do enjoy the crisp freshness of the autumn air.

I’ve set some goals to plurk with over the cooler months. I’m a member of Toastmasters. I have been for two years. I had only completed 3 of my 10 manual speeches during that first two years. I can list many reasons why I didn’t achieve more during those two years. They were busy time. In truth, the only reason I never achieved more is because I never decided to achieve more. I was not setting a stronger goal, just in case I didn’t achieve it. I knew it was going to be busy.

With all the changes that have been afoot in my life I’ve been able to make some wonderfully powerful observations about myself. One of them was that the minute I make a decision, the rest falls into place. I’ve made the decision to achieve Competent Communicator BEFORE June 2009. I completed my 4^th speech last week. I have 6 more speeches to go, and 7 months to get them done. These are still busy times, AND I’ve made the Decision.
