A friend of mine shared with me that his son (10 years old) is completely fascinated with Maps. He came up with the wonderfully creative idea of asking his friends from around the world to send a city map to his son for Christmas.
He lives in New Zealand, so clear across the world from me. I think it is a wonderfully creative idea! I’m going to send him one of Calgary, and a few other places near me in Alberta.
Then I thought about it. I have so many wonderful friends and acquaintances around this beautiful blue marble we call Earth. Wouldn’t it be fun for this young man to receive maps from many locations?
