We all know that stuff happens. Unexpected things. Things that trigger emotions of all kinds. The thing about it is, once the event has happened, we get to choose what we do with it. Do we have a long conversation about what’s bad about this? Do we play the experience over and over in [...] Our Thoughts create our Experience. How you think is the filter through which you see everything. It becomes your reality. And, there are always more ways to think. Could they all be true? And if this is true, which thought will you choose?

As we grow older we seek approval from our friends, coworkers, and our partners. We often seek approval from people we don’t even know. Why? Are we not enough as we are? Not Enough and Not Good Enough. [...] The Ego. Egor. The False Self. The Lower Self. Negative Me. There are so many names we give this part of ourselves that we call “Ego”. This is the part of us that is experiencing our Human existence full-out. She takes in the data of all of our experiences and emotions. Categorizes them.
